Good quality and would fit a number of different tools. I will probably buy another one.
This trolley is exactly what was needed. It is a much more stable piece that way. The three wheeled versions I had looked at had a single pedal to raise and lower the steering wheel but the tongue took up more space and the cost was higher.
My equipment shares space with the cars so it was imperative to make my heavy equipment mobile but at a reasonable price. I snapped one head off. I like many use my garage as my shop.
The only negative was they use soft metal bolts for the frame assembly so be careful on how much you tighten them. It arrived well packaged and went together quickly. It is heavily built with large wheels for moving across expansion grooves in the floor.
I would recommend bolting the equipment to the trolley rather than just setting it on it. I would (and probably will) buy this again.Dan
What I do is gently lift on the table top as I depress the levers and the saw pops right up. I was a little aprehensive after reviewing some of the negative reviews but after several months of use I am completly satisfied with the purchase. I purchased the HTC2000 for a hybrid table saw weighing around 300 pounds. No drama, no sweat. The base is easy if a little tedious to assemble with all of nuts an bolts required. The plastic lift levers, the subject of many complaints, have so far proved up to the task. The saw has been very easy to move and maneuver around the shop floor. All in all a good compromise for the price.
The item was not quite what I needed but was easy to modify and now I have a mobile base for my radial arm saw that allows me to take it out of the shop for big dirty fobs with little effort.
Unlike the dedicated bases, the fixed wheels have no brake on them. My shop rolls on HTC products and I've always been happy with them.I restored an old Parks planer and the footprint fit none of the dedicated basesso I opted to try one of the universal bases. Big mistake. THe machine rests on two small rubber pads and the wheels when "stationary" and that does not work out well. The base is prone to movement as there is insufficient locking mechanisms- if this base had brakes it would be a nice option for odd pieces of machinery.
